No, no, you don't need to make a new account. Just go to Xanje, do these actions in the following order:
Hover over the Profile button near the top of the page >> Select Account Settings from the drop down menu >> Put a new username in the space labeled "Name" >> input your password into the Current Password box to confirm the action >> Dance because now you got a new name!

If it doesn't work, it's because Nick is changing things again...
